Daily check-ins & streaks

The 4-step assessment, the streak counter, and what a skipped day means.

The 4-step assessment

  1. 1

    Mood

A 6-option wheel, from 'Rough' to 'Great'. One tap. Records mood score 1–6.

  2. 2

    Energy / stress

A 1–5 slider for each. The two are shown back to back because teammates often answer one better when the other is anchored.

  3. 3

    Sleep

Last night's sleep — hours and a subjective quality tap. Sleep links strongly to mood in the aggregate view.

  4. 4

    One open reflection

Optional. One line. Not seen by any manager — it rolls into the teammate's private journal.

The streak counter

Consecutive days with at least a mood check-in count as a streak. Missing a day resets it — except for the weekly grace: missing a weekend day doesn't break the streak if weekday check-ins continue. This prevents the app feeling punishing.

Skipped days

A skipped day contributes nothing to dashboards — not a zero, not a gap. Response rate just reflects who answered. The aggregation is careful to not conflate 'didn't answer' with 'felt neutral'.

Check-ins are saved locally first and synced when the device is online. A teammate can answer on an airplane and the data arrives when they land.
