When Slack is connected, the weekly AI briefing is delivered as a direct message from the Vibeshift bot. It does not post to a shared channel.
Why DMs
- Briefings contain aggregated numbers and a narrative that's most useful to admins and managers, not the whole company.
- A shared channel would force every teammate to see numbers about their team that may be out of context.
- DMs let each recipient trigger a regenerate without cross-chatter.
Who gets them
- Admins receive the full company-wide briefing.
- Managers receive a briefing scoped to their department(s) only.
- Employees don't receive briefings — they see the mobile app check-ins instead.
If an admin wants to share the briefing with a wider audience, the DM itself has a Forward link that renders the briefing as a public-safe summary (no per-department numbers).
